I Loved this project. I was asked to make an alaia with a design to match a tattoo on the bride’s arm. Came out really well as you can see. The picture shows the bride and her brother fighting over the board!

Built this board for the head Christian Surfers Europe. The brief was to build a board to ride the Severn Bore.  The artwork is based on a picture of Christ by native American artist Roy Henry Vickers.

Board name Ezra.  Made this as a surprise for my son and daughter in law's wedding.  All the guests signed it, and I then sprayed the board with a tough clear acrylic so that the names are protected and they can still use it.  They now have it stood in pride of place in their front room.

Board name Judges.  Built this 6'10" single fin magic carpet for my daughter.  It's still one of her prized possesions.

Board name 2 Samuel.  Commisioned by Surfed Out in Braunton this paddle board was made following the plans laid out in an article by Tom Blake in 1937.  Blake was an amazing man worth looking up his story.

Board name Job.  Single fin box with cedar deck inlay and nice nose detail.  Very pretty board.

It's not all about adults.  I make bespoke Belly Boards as well.  Made from a three layer sandwich of Paulownia and Red Cedar with a glass fibre and epoxy core.  

She wanted an owl so that's what we put on her Belly Board

Great commission for a board for a guy in Miami.  We spent a long time discussing and planning the set up and decoration.  Turned out reall well.

I made this handplane as an item for a primary school fundraiser. The school was on the Hawaiian island of Kauai and the students are called little Honus the Hawaiian for turtle.

Made for the wedding of a couple who got married in Devon and then flew back with their board to live in Australia, hence the Aboriginal kangaroo design.

Sean came and made this board in the workshop for his upcoming wedding. He wanted to make a board for all the guests to sign at the reception and then to surf the board each year on their anniversary. Sean kindly sent this pic of them surfing Habakkuk together.

I was sent a photo and asked to create a sty;ised version on this belly board. Pretty happy with the result

The artwork on this board took awhile but the effect was worth it. 50 pelicans hand painted on to the wood and then the board was glassed as usual.

Loved making this board with Michele. Being Italian he was typically stylish and wanted to try and make a board with 2 different woods in the deck. The result was pretty impressive. Here is the board with the final coat of gloss resin prior to polishing.

As well as the Twinnie we restyled a couple of Michele’s other boards. We removed the old fibreglass reshaped the foam, decorated and reglassed.

The first of 2 boards bought by artist Rob Cordingley. I do the wooden bit, Rob then paints them and I finish off with the glassing. This one is of an awesome cuttle fish

Very delicate decoration on this cheeseboard. Russ gave me a pic and asked me to recreate it using my pyrography tool (hot iron knib). Was really pleased how I managed to get so much detail into the tiny girl leaning over the boat.
