Alaia for a weding
I Loved this project. I was asked to make an alaia with a design to match a tattoo on the bride’s arm. Came out really well as you can see. The picture shows the bride and her brother fighting over the board!

Honu handplane
I made this handplane as an item for a primary school fundraiser. The school was on the Hawaiian island of Kauai and the students are called little Honus the Hawaiian for turtle.

Made for the wedding of a couple who got married in Devon and then flew back with their board to live in Australia, hence the Aboriginal kangaroo design.

Sean came and made this board in the workshop for his upcoming wedding. He wanted to make a board for all the guests to sign at the reception and then to surf the board each year on their anniversary. Sean kindly sent this pic of them surfing Habakkuk together.

Zechariah 6'1" 3 Fin Fish
The artwork on this board took awhile but the effect was worth it. 50 pelicans hand painted on to the wood and then the board was glassed as usual.
Mark 5'10" Twinnie
Loved making this board with Michele. Being Italian he was typically stylish and wanted to try and make a board with 2 different woods in the deck. The result was pretty impressive. Here is the board with the final coat of gloss resin prior to polishing.

The first of 2 boards bought by artist Rob Cordingley. I do the wooden bit, Rob then paints them and I finish off with the glassing. This one is of an awesome cuttle fish
Custom Cheeseboard
Very delicate decoration on this cheeseboard. Russ gave me a pic and asked me to recreate it using my pyrography tool (hot iron knib). Was really pleased how I managed to get so much detail into the tiny girl leaning over the boat.
